The COVID health crisis revealed the urgent need for the SOCODA Group to go digital. The network of distributors operated on traditional business models, but ideally wanted a direct digital interface with their customers to give them access to their product catalog, prices and stock. They also wanted to be able to create shopping baskets and personalized quotations.
With the DJUST B2B ecommerce solution, all independent distributors can launch an e-shop faster built for B2B needs, while they can design and compose their online shop as they see fit for their products and customers. As logistics remain a difficult challenge for distributors, the DJUST solution is also deployed on a new stock pooling tool.
This means that there will be no centralized SOCODA platform in the physical sense. This pooling of virtual stock allows each distributor to view the stocks of other distributors in the network to obtain supplies.
With a virtual central stock, the distributor has an extremely broad supply capacity, with colleagues, alliances or suppliers. The objective is to achieve the best result for the customer more quickly without losing the value of the network.
